Hello, I’m Julie, and I’m so glad you’re here!
Nestled in the picturesque town of Ashbourne, Derbyshire, on the edge of the stunning Peak District, I offer a space where you can pause, breathe, and find calm amidst the chaos of life. In addition to being a part-time Primary School teacher, I am passionate about guiding others on their yoga journey.
I discovered yoga during a difficult period when anxiety was taking its toll on my life. Through my practice, I found a way to soothe the mind and restore balance. Yoga has truly transformed my life, and I’m here to share that healing experience with you, whether you're new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice.
As a woman navigating the changes of life, I also use yoga to support those going through menopause. It’s an incredible tool for managing the physical and emotional shifts that come with this stage, helping to bring balance, ease, and empowerment during such an important transition.
At Lotus Flow Yoga, you’ll find a welcoming, supportive environment where you can explore mindfulness, build strength, and nurture your mental well-being. I can’t wait to flow with you!
What is Yoga?
Yoga is an ancient practice that combines physical postures, breath control, and meditation to improve flexibility, strength, and mental clarity. It promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and supports overall well-being, offering a holistic approach to physical and mental health.

Vinyasa is a style of yoga where poses are strung together to form one fluid sequence of movement. The classes focus on connecting the movements with the rhythm of the breath. Vinyasa means to move with the breath, which is essentially the core of a Vinyasa class.
